We regularly sponsor and attend philanthropic events as a way to give back to our communities. In addition to our philanthropic endeavors, we stay current and share knowledge by participating in educational events.

52nd Annual Figawi Race Weekend for Kids at Risk
In our continued commitment to kids at risk, my family will virtually sail in the 52nd Annual Figawi Race Weekend. Recognized as a top sailing event not only on the east coast but is known nationally as well as internationally. As in the past, we are fully underwriting all the expenses associated with entering the race so that 100% of our corporate sponsorships will go to two organizations that directly impact kids at risk. Since these organizations are associated with the Rodman Ride for Kids, the Ride provides financial incentives to these charities. Last year, we came in 2nd Place in Division D!- Crossroads inspires youth to develop their innate potential to become members of the next generation of diverse young leaders in Boston and Massachusetts, breaking the cycle of poverty and under-achievement. www.crossroadsma.org

Karl and Sonya Feitelberg will be virtually cycling with the Sterling Resources Team on September 25, 2021 in the 30th Rodman Ride for Kids. The Rodman Ride for Kids is a fundraiser that serves 46 youth focused Massachusetts agencies. This year marks the 15th year Karl and Sonya have participated in this event.- Think:Kids teaches a revolutionary, evidence based approach called Collaborative Problem Solving (CPS) for helping children with behavioral challenges. www.thinkkids.org

The Future of Everything

Sterling has curated and developed a unique Family Office program on The Future of Everything to be hosted by the University of Miami Business School. The program is designed for global ultra-high net worth families and the principals of their family offices. There will be no sponsors or vendors. This program will bring together innovators and experts to discuss the future of a wide range of disciplines, with topics such as Security and Privacy, Technology, and Private Equity among others.
